Changes to chipping and green waste removal.
This summer Placer County is offering chipping services to properties in Alpine Meadows mid July for a minimum fee of $80. Visit or call (530) 390-6680. Unfortunately, free service is no longer available.
On July 14, 2023 the Alpine Springs County Water District (ASCWD) will consider a proposal to provide its customers a credit for up to 2-six yard green waste dumpsters. If approved, starting July 1, 2023, the property owner can secure and pay for the dumpster. To get a credit, just provide ASCWD proof of payment to receive credit on your next invoice.
Volunteer for fire prevention clean up day & get entered to win a free pass to Palisades Tahoe
Come to our annual clean up day which will begin at 8:30 am on July 29th, 2023. This year we’ll work behind the River Run Condominiums hillside. Please wear closed toe shoes, preferably boots, and bring gloves. All volunteers who help 3+ hours are entered in a drawing for a free, full season pass at Palisades Tahoe.
